Péter Morvai, graphic designer's work won the image tender of ATAFF
We have advertised our call for application among the students of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts to design the logo, the mosaic word (ATAFF) and the poster of the festival. The tenders were evaluated by the jury - two film professionals, a university teacher, a fine artist and a graphic designer - belonging to the halo of our film festival. The winner was Péter Morvai's design work.
The evaluation of the jury said:
That Péter Morvai's work was highly emerging from the tenders received. Conceptional, reasoned, consistent, progressive and practicable. It is clear from the designer's attitude that he took the call for application seriously, his attention was open to every detail: name card, armband, popcorn paper bag and festival linen bag. It is a professional work in every aspect with fantasy which can be undertaken proudly as it fits to the Trauner heritance.
I am Péter Morvai, graphic designer. I study at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts majoring in graphic design since 2016. At the moment I am studying in Spain with Erasmus scholarship. It was very exciting to work on the festival's image and to get closer to Alexandre Trauner's work and ouvre. I am happy that the image of the festival could be renewed upon my idea and I am grateful for the trustfulness of the festival organizers.
