Claire Richards

Claire Richards has worked in the art department of the film industry for more than three decades, gaining experience across nearly every area of the profession before specializing in set design.

Her credits include internationally acclaimed productions such as 1917, Belfast, The Theory of Everything, Aladdin, The Batman, and Anna Karenina.

Her background in photography and the visual arts, combined with extensive international experience, has played a defining role in shaping her creative approach.

Her work is distinguished by richly detailed visual environments, a strong sensitivity to texture and light, and a commitment to creating authentic atmospheres.

We are delighted to welcome Claire Richards as a guest of our 2026 festival, where she will serve as a member of the international jury evaluating the films competing for the Trauner Award for Best Production Design.
