Moderator: Vanda Flaisz

The Film Futures program is an exciting platform where we showcase short films created by young university students and engage the audience in post-screening discussions. The aim of the project is to explore the creative journey of student filmmaking while sharing the experiences of young creators with the viewers.

The program include short films made by both international and Hungarian students, representing diverse themes and styles. These films are not only entertaining but also provide an opportunity for viewers to gain deeper insights into the behind-the-scenes aspects and challenges of student filmmaking.

During the discussions, young filmmakers openly share their experiences regarding the difficulties of short filmmaking, production circumstances, and delve into how being a student filmmaker can influence creativity at different levels. These discussions not only focus on the positives but also address the negatives, offering a comprehensive view of the world of student filmmaking.
