Katalin Solymosi

Katalin Solymosi is a plant biologist, adjunct professor at the Department of Plant Organisms, Eötvös Loránd University, founding member and co-chair of the Academy of Young Scientists (2021-2023), vice-president of the Young Academy of Europe and head of the working group for scientific outreach. She has taught continuously at the Eötvös Loránd University since 2001, at Semmelweis University from 2005 to 2020 and at the University of Burgundy (Dijon, France) as an invited lecturer from 2006 to 2010.

Her work has been awarded, among others, the L'ORÉAL-UNESCO Women in Science Fellowship, the Women in Science Excellence Award, and prizes from the Hungarian Biophysical Society and the Hungarian Electron Microscope Society. In addition to her research, she is actively involved in science outreach by writing educational articles and social media posts, holding science education programmes and exhibiting her microscope photographs, which have won awards in national and international competitions.

Attila Dávid Molnár

Attila Dávid Molnár (Budapest, 24 April 1976) Kollányi Ágoston Nature Film Award-winning nature filmmaker, director, screenwriter, teacher.

He is the founder and president of the Természetfilm.hu Scientific Film Workshop, a doctoral student at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Eötvös Loránd University, co-founder and organizer of the PET Cup, founder and trainer of the scientific Popular Science Video Workshop.

He has produced more than 100 science education films, which have won the Pál Rockenbauer Memorial Award, several awards at the International Science Film Festival, Envirofilm, GREENSCREEN, IWFF and JWFF.

Bálint Gelley

Bálint Gelley graduated in 2012 from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Faculty of Animation.

In 2015 he founded CUB Animation studio with Bella Szederkényi.

He is a founding member and board member of the Hungarian Animation Producers Association and a former MMA fellow. He works as a director and producer and as a lecturer in animation at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
